*RE:CREATION* Dough it yourself

join us for a lot of silliness, as we commence our RE:CREATION series, where the idea is to play, to feed your innerchild, and create for the sake of creation (not necessarily for the result!)  ... there's no right or wrong, and within reason, there's no rules.

This session is a tactile and experimental play with Salt Dough and make (NON-EDIBLE) ornaments, sculptures and fun things. 

Salt Dough is a favourite of Pea's, a much treasured pasttime from the 80s and 90s, and she's here to introduce it to you!!

I can't wait to get my hands mucky and just make!!

Make as many things as your little hands and dazzling mind see fit to... go big, or stay intricate, the choice is yours!

maybe you want to make 20 little stars to thread on string as a garland. Maybe you want to make some gorgeous little figurines (Pea loves to make fairy/angels with curly hair - pushing the dough through a garlic press!) - or make some larger things, test the limits of this dough (Libby will be putting her pottery skills to the test).

If any of your playtime results in something you want to keep, then Pea will slow bake these creations for you, for collection at a later date.

But it doesn't stop there - you can come back and paint your items and string them up ready to hang in your home.

After this session, there's a walk in the woods event, so if you'd like to join us for both, bring walking wear and your lunch!
