Break the Binds uses bindweed as a metaphor for those people and relationships, which just keep sneaking back... oh, you know the ones! It is difficult and exhausting to keep breaking the bind, but it's necessary for the health of the plant. You my dear, are a magnificent flower, which deserves to bloom unencumbered by your bindweed; whatever that may be ... a guy, a negative voice, a habit etc.
 
So why bindweed? "Bindweed twine around other plant stems, smothering them in the process. They are not easy to remove as they persist" [RHS] ... need I say more?
 
Just because it's attractive and hard to get rid of, doesn't mean you shouldn't get rid of it.
